Tottenham Hotspur have placed a huge £59.5million double offer on the table for Fiorentina duo Nikola Milenkovic and Dusan Vlahovic. Spurs are intent on raiding La Viola for the two Serbia internationals this summer. Now, Paratici has made a double offer and Tottenham fans have reacted.
That is, according to Fiorentina-based site Firenze Viola. They say Fiorentina want a total of £72.5million – £60million for Vlahovic and £12.5million for Milenkovic. However, the report does state that the Serie A club – managed by Gennaro Gattuso – realise that asking price is ambitious.
Tottenham have tabled just £500,000 short of £60million for both players and talks are ongoing. While Fiorentina might not want to accept such a proposal, there seems to be grounds in which the two parties can find a compromise. Spurs are not the only club interested in both players.
West Ham are keen on Milenkovic. Reports from Corriere Dello Sport say Atletico Madrid have an agreement with Fiorentina for Vlahovic. Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the reports that Paratici and Spurs have made a double bid for Milenkovic and Vlahovic.
One fan said he would be a “very happy man” if a deal to get both players goes through this summer.
