West Ham are willing to pay the required fee for Napoli midfielder Piotr Zielinski, according to AS.com.
West Ham reportedly improved their offer. Now the club is ready to pay €40 million for Zeliński, which is exactly the amount that the Italian team is asking for. An agreement between the two sides could be reached as early as this week.
However, Zieliński is still in doubts over the move to West Ham and it may take a huge pay raise, far more than the €4m a season he currently earns, to get him thinking about a move. At the moment, it is not known how much the Hammers are ready to offer the player.
Last season West Ham offered Napoli €25 million plus bonuses for the Polish midfielder, which is much less than the € 40 million price set by the Gli Azzurri.
