‘Very nice’ – Memphis Depay has dropped a hint over moving to London


Blaugranas forwards has been actively linked with a move to north London recently, and now the speculations have received a fresh soil to grow on.

New reports revealed that back in 2019, before his move to Spain, he admitted that considers the Premier League a ‘very nice’ competition.

According to the Mirror, the Spurs manager Antonio Conte is personally interested in the services of the Dutch forward. Interestingly, Barcelona are also ready to sell the football player, as Depay’s contract expires in a year.

The striker understands that the capital of Catalonia has vague prospects for him, so he does not mind moving to a team that will play in the Champions League. The parties are to negotiate in the near future.

His current value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €35m. Depay made 27 appearances for Barcelona in the previous La Liga season, scoring 12 goals and providing two assists.
