Spurs could well end up parting ways with Tanguy Ndombele this summer, after reports suggested today that the Frenchman wants out of the club.
The Athletic have reported that Ndombele has asked to leave Tottenham, after failing to impress Nuno Santo. So far, Santo has not picked the midfielder at all, and confirmed he’ll not be involved this weekend either.
Santo joins both Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino in not being able to get a full tune out of the 24-year-old. Spurs, then, are now faced with a tricky situation when it comes to Ndombele’s future.
But former player and regular contributor to the world of Twitter, Graham Roberts, has offered up his suggestion this afternoon.
Roberts believes the club should be looking to recoup money for Ndombele in the long-run. But he believes a loan deal, where he can prove his worth, could help Spurs get the maximum for their man.
Ndombele cost Spurs over £50m when he signed but he has been unable to ever really produce any sort of consistent form.
He found his best form briefly under Mourinho, which included scoring a wonder goal at Sheffield United last season. Sadly, though, that form has not been regular enough.
