Tottenham “working hard” to appoint Antonio Conte as Paratici loses patience with Nuno

Tottenham are now seriously considering going back in for Italian manager, Antonio Conte, as the pressure continues to build on Nuno Espirito Santo.

Spurs lost to Manchester United yesterday with relative ease. The boos rang out around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at full time, and Santo is now under pressure despite only being appointed in the summer.

And according to Alfredo Pedulla, Tottenham and Fabio Paratici are now ‘seriously trying’ to convince Conte to become their new coach. Conte, 52, has won the Premier League with Chelsea, as well as four Serie A titles.

He won the Scudetto last time out with Inter Milan but left the club amid disagreements on player sales and budget. He has since been targeted by Manchester United, who have eyes on replacing Ole Solskjaer.

The report from Pedulla claims that Fabio Paratici is pushing hard to bring Conte to London. Further, it’s suggested Daniel Levy may even be onboard with the appointment.

Conte was approached by Spurs in the summer but walked away from talks after disagreements on the project.
