‘Tottenham submit official offer’ – La Liga club wants to arrange everything within the next 3 days

As has been widely reported in the end of 2021/22 season, Tottenham Hotspur were closely monitoring the situation surrounding Clement Lenglet as Camp Nou. Now it is reported that Barcelona does not count on the defender and won’t oppose his departure if proper offer arrives.

The Monday updates from both Sport and Mundo Deportivo confirm that talks between Tottenham and Barcelona have advanced, as the parent club indeed wants to sell the player as soon as possible.

However, the London club face a competition from their former manager Jose Mourinho. AS Roma reportedly are ready to proceed to full money transfer, while Spurs are negotiating a year loan deal with obligation to buy. So Fabio Paratici and Co try to convince Barca’s bosses with a higher transfer fee that could possible arrive next summer.

The Spanish reports do no specify what amount of money Roma are ready to part with, but Serie A clubs are not known for throwing cash.
