Joe Rodon helped Wales secure three points away against Estonia – and the country’s media rated the Tottenham ace as his side’s ‘Star Man’.
Wales came into the match desperately in need of a win in Group E, as Rob Page looks to take his country to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar next year.
With Estonia and Belarus now out of the running, and Belgium sitting pretty at the top – it is a two-way shootout to finish in second place.
Wales, or Czech Republic. Kieffer Moore’s early goal was enough to beat Estonia in Tallinn – and take Wales level with the Czechs on 11 points.
The difference being, that Wales now have a game in hand. Rodon, 23, was pivotal once again to the win – keeping a clean sheet in his 19th Wales cap.
WhoScored say he made the most clearances with six, blocking as many shots as anyone else. Wales Online gave him 7/10, and the ‘Star Man’ badge.
