Tottenham Insider Confirms Interest in Attacker with 14-G/a Last Season

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly back in the race to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers attacker Pedro Neto this summer, according to transfer expert Paul O’Keefe.

Manager Ange Postecoglou is looking to add firepower to his squad ahead of the 2024/25 season, with a new striker being the top priority. However, Spurs are also keen on bolstering their attacking options on the flanks.

Neto, a Portuguese international, has been a long-term target for Tottenham. He joined Wolves in 2019 and has been a key player for them ever since. Despite missing matches due to injuries last season, Neto still managed to contribute 14 goals (3 goals and 11 assists) in 24 appearances across all competitions.

Despite his contract running until 2027, Tottenham are prepared to approach Wolves regarding a potential transfer. The club is impressed with Neto’s versatility. While his preferred position is on the right wing, he can play anywhere across the front three, offering Postecoglou greater tactical flexibility and strengthening his attacking options.

This isn’t the first time Spurs have been linked with Neto, but they had previously stepped back from their pursuit. However, their desire to add attacking depth has seen them reignite their interest in the Portuguese winger.
