Tottenham is showing interest in young striker Sonny Perkins.
According to ExWHUemployee, chief executive Fabio Paratici has made an offer to buy the Englishman. Leeds United have also entered the race for the 18-year-old striker and want to get their hands on him.
An Irons insider commented on the situation:
“He was meant to be going to Leeds but Spurs, the club he supports, made a late move. He has a decision to make between the two now, I believe. Leeds or Spurs.”
His contract expired on July 1 and he became a free agent. His performances for Under-18 Premier League showed that Perkins has great potential. He also managed two appearances for West Ham’s first team in the Europa League group stage.
The versatile and promising 18-year-old midfielder as a free agent would definitely help Antonio Conte’s team in those competitions and games where main players may need rest.
