Tottenham enter race to hijack Chelsea’s £65 million transfer target

Spurs are targeting the signing of Sevilla French defender Jules Kоunde, after Chelsea focused on signing of Kalidou Koulibaly and Presnel Kimpembe.

Kоunde has been a Chelsea transfer target for a long time, but interest in him has cooled down after the purchase of Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly. Chelsea also want to close the deal for PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe, but negotiations are still ongoing.

Аccording to the Mirror, аgainst this backdrop, Tottenham have joined the fight for Kоunde, who is valued at £65 million. The only problem could be the Parisian club, which in the case of Kimpembe’s departure, would be able to offer Sevilla better terms to replace Presnel.

The financial power that PSG and Tottenham can provide are really different. Kоunde will be able to make his own decision, while Antonio Conte’s intriguing project can serve as an additional plus for the London club.
