‘Today I’ve seen a lot’ – Antonio Conte delivers verdict on Richarlison’s debut

Tottenham’s pre-season tour of South Korea got off to a great start after beating the K League side 6-3.

The game provided an opportunity to see Tottenham’s star newcomer, Richarlison, on the field.

The Brazilian striker spent 77 minutes on the pitch, starting in the center of attack, and in the second half, Antonio Conte moved him to the right flank.

Speaking at a press conference after the match (via football.london), the Italian specialist praised the Brazilian for his versatility.

“Today I’ve seen a lot of positive things about Richy. The first half he played like a number nine and the second half he played on the right, behind the striker. I think he can play in all these three positions. ”

“He is a player that gives me important positions up front. He’s a player that is a good player, strong and very good to protect the ball and attack the space. Also he made a good assist, I’m very happy that we signed him”

The versatility and a number of positive qualities have had the necessary influence on the game of Antonio Conte, although the Brazilian did not manage to mark an effective action on the pitch.
