Antonio Conte may not take several first-team players on his upcoming tour to South Korea, namely, those who are expected to leave the club this transfer window.
According to the Evening Standard, the Italian is not afraid to leave players who want to continue their careers at another clubs out of the start of pre-season. He wants to focus on rebuild with the people he trusts as well as to carefully blend the newcomers to the process.
The formation of the squad for the trip to South Korea will be completed on Friday.
Giovani Lo Celso and Tanguy Ndombele, both returning from loan, are set to leave the club this window, though the Frenchman admitted in a recent interview that he is ready to stay with Antonio Conte.
Steven Bergwijn has already moved to Ajax for £30 million. The official announcement is expected in hours.
