Richarlison has told Everton his plans for the summer transfer window amid links with a move to Tottenham Hotspur, writes the TBR.
90Min have covered comments from the Brazilian forward where he admitted he has made his intentions clear to Frank Lampard and the Toffees’ board.
It has recently been reported that Spurs are keeping a close eye on the striker as they look to bolster their squad with Champions League football on the horizon next season.
Richarlison did not mention any potential new club, but he seemed to suggest that the situation would become clearer next month when the transfer window opens.
“I’ve already made it clear to the board,” he said.
“I’ve already talked to (manager Frank) Lampard too, with my agents and they know what I want.
“Let’s wait for June.
“Now I can’t talk, because when we talk about leaving a club I’m kind of like this, because of the history I have at Everton, the affection that the fans have for me. When we talk about leaving I’m a little speechless.”
It has also been reported that Arsenal have had contact with Richarlison’s agent but of course they cannot offer Champions League football next term.
Richarlison cost £50 million as a 21-year-old back in July 2018 (BBC Sport) and it remains to be seen how much they would expect to get for him this summer.
Losing him would be a big blow for Everton as they look to have a better season than their last, as Lampard embarks on his first summer in charge at Goodison Park.
