After the purchase of four players, it seems that Tottenham is not going to stop. Daniel Levy has put his full trust in Antonio Conte, and the manager is living up to that trust on the pitch.
Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has given his opinion on Tottenham’s transfer policy via Wrighty’s News podcast.
Wright says it is impossible not to be envious of what Spurs did in the summer transfer window.
“I feel Tottenham are going to cause problems. They are frightening man.“
“So, you are trying to arm yourself because the Tottenham fans are saying ‘well, we kind of have Bissouma now, Richarlison, Kane, then Bentancur is going to kick in and we have seen what Romero is about.“
Even now, the flexibility of Tottenham’s squad looks more solid than last season, where it often lacked an immediate impact from the bench as the likes of Bergwijn and Lucas Moura could not provide enough enforcement when needed. We expect the new team show itself in a completely different way under Antonio Conte next season, and cannot wait for it to start.
