‘The reason is known’ – Fabrizio Romano revealed why Spurs have not yet made an offer for Raphinha

With the recent developments in the transfer market, there have been many rumors that have linked Leeds striker Raphinha with a move to Antonio Conte’s team.

The Leeds United star is not only coveted by Tottenham Hotspur, as another rival in the fight for the player is Arsenal.

From Leeds’ side, there has been no denial about the player’s transfer, they are giving him a path to the club he wants. But in turn, they have put too high asking price on the striker.

Fabrizio Romano stated that Leeds wants £65 million for the player. Commenting on the Brazilian player, the journalist in his YouTube channel said:

“Tottenham – they are really interested in Raphinha. They are discussing with Leeds of a potential verbal proposal.”

“Tottenham and Arsenal both clubs don’t want to pay crazy money, they want to pay the right money and they don’t want to enter a bidding war. This is why all the talks are verbal on Tottenham’s side.”

Arsenal are currently the only club to place official offer to Leeds, in writing, but less than £40 million. Leeds United considered this offer too low and turned it down. So, the only problem is the cost of the player, neither one nor the other club wants to pay fabulous money, and do not want to enter into a bidding war for the player.
