The French club’s head coach admits the 7m-rated talent will leave the club amid West Ham interest

Relegated to the French second division Bordeaux continues to struggle for stability as financial problems force the club to sell key players.

After a recent friendly against Valenciennes (0-0), the French club’s head coach David Guion revealed to Girondins 4 Ever that the South Korean striker Hwang Ui-Jo is likely to leave the club in the coming days.

Guion said: “Yes, he is a boy who is likely to leave, you know that.”

“Indeed, he is likely to leave us in the coming days.”

Despite the signing of Gianluca Scamacca earlier, West Ham may go to the market for another centre-forward. David Moyes wants to have more competition in that position. Besides, the South Korean can be sealed for a bargain fee, as according to reports Hwang is valued by the club at £7 million. Once again, Bordeaux are indeed interested in the deal to balance their books.
