“That’s my boy”: Some fans happy after hearing what Nuno said about “Tottenham’s true king”


Some Tottenham fans were happy after Nuno Espirito Santo praised Heung-Min Son.

Speaking to Sky Sports (via Football Daily), the Spurs boss has labelled the South Korean a ‘happy boy’.

Spurs will be hoping he can make them happy this Sunday as the Premier League returns. The Lilywhites are up against reigning champions Manchester City in a tough opener.

Son will be looking for a continuation of his form from last season. The winger scored 22 times and registered 17 assists in just 51 games across all competitions.

But, he could be set to lose his partner in crime with the Citizens confident they’ll sign Harry Kane.

We’ve previously mentioned how Son can go on to replace Kane as the club’s talisman.

And to all intents and purposes, it makes sense as he is one of the attacking players the club rely on. The former Bayer Leverkusen ace contributed to 27 of the side’s 68 goals in the league; a staggering 40%.

But Son will still need world-class help at Tottenham if Kane leaves despite Nuno having praised the star.

It is extremely rare a club can get through a season relying on just one player in attack.

There is an enormous amount of pressure on Fabio Paratici to replace the England international should he leave this summer.
