Spurs Insider Reveals Five Strikers Under Consideration for Club’s New Number Nine

Tottenham Hotspur is actively exploring options to fill the void left by Harry Kane’s departure, says insider Paul O’Keefe.

The absence of Harry Kane, who left for Bayern Munich last August, has been keenly felt by the North London club. Club captain Heung-min Son has primarily filled the role, but often finds himself drifting back to his usual left-wing position.

According to O’Keefe, Tottenham is currently eyeing at least five strikers as potential signings. Among them are Brentford’s Ivan Toney, Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord, Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart, Loïs Openda from RB Leipzig, and Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres.

O’Keefe commented, “As Spurs look for a number 9 for next season, among those under consideration are Gimenez, Toney, Guirassy, Openda, and Gyokeres.”

This news highlights Tottenham’s determination to bolster their attacking options for the upcoming season, with a focus on finding a prolific striker to lead their frontline.
