‘Spurs have the funds’ – Sky Sports reveals whether Tottenham will make a move for Maddison

Sky Sports correspondent Michael Bridge reported that Spurs have enough money to formalize the transfer of James Maddison from Leicester. However, he said he does not expect a real offer for the 25-year-old player right now.

Since the early days of this month, Alasdair Gold has repeatedly denied rumors that have been linked to a move to the Spurs’ ranks for the Englishman.

Bridge now confirms Gold’s statements, while adding that he, too, has not heard anything about interest in the 25-year-old Englishman.

Well, they’ve got the money to do it, I just have not heard anything regarding Tottenham and James Maddison.

And I think there’s a bit of a debate going on with Spurs fans at the moment about Spurs needing some creativity. But Spurs don’t play with a 10, and their creativity will come in different ways in terms of Conte’s system. I don’t think he’ll come.
