Spurs eye Milinkovic-Savic and Maddison in summer transfer window

Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is reportedly set to turn down a new contract offer from the Italian club amidst interest from Premier League sides. While the midfielder’s deal at Lazio is set to expire at the end of next season, he is not expected to sign an extension.

Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with Juventus, AC Milan, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United, with former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman as his agent. Kezman revealed that his client would only move to a team that can offer Champions League football.

Meanwhile, Gabby Agbonlahor has urged Tottenham Hotspur to sign James Maddison this summer, saying that he would be a “perfect” fit for the team. The former Aston Villa striker warned that if Tottenham doesn’t act fast on their interest in Maddison, they risk losing him to Newcastle United, who are reportedly willing to offer up to £55 million for the Leicester City midfielder.

Maddison had bids rejected from Newcastle last summer, but the club is not believed to have made him a priority target heading into the summer transfer window.

Milinkovic-Savic and Maddison are two highly sought-after midfielders who could make a significant impact on their respective teams. While Milinkovic-Savic’s future remains uncertain, Maddison’s possible move to Tottenham or Newcastle could shake up the Premier League. As the transfer window approaches, it will be interesting to see where these players end up and how they will perform in the upcoming season.
