Antonio Conte has revaled some very positive Tottenham Hotspur team news. Spurs kick off their Champions League campaign tonight with a visit of Marseille to North London, writes the HITC.

The games are coming thick and fast for Tottenham – and everyone else – at the moment due to the World Cup happening in a couple of months.

That means that rotation is going to be massive for Conte but he’s been missing a big player as of late.

Lucas Moura has only managed 12 minutes of Premier League football this season but he missed the 2-1 victory over Fulham this past weekend through injury.

But Conte has revealed via the club’s official website that although the Brazilian attacker won’t be ready for tonight, he’ll be returning to full training very soon and ‘that’s good news’.

He said: “We only have one player who we need to recover, Lucas. I know tomorrow he is starting training again on the pitch, and that’s good news, because Lucas is an important player for us, especially as we need to have all the players available.”

As mentioned, Lucas is the only injured player the Lilywhites have absent for tonight.

And that’s massive because kicking off your Champions League campaign with a victory is majorly important but you have to fancy Conte’s troops have enough quality to see off their Ligue 1 counterparts.

The former Paris Saint-Germain winger has 19 goals in 139 Premier League appearances, which isn’t a stunning statistic, but it is quite a decent one and underlines how important he could be for the North Londoners, particularly with Son Heung-min in something of a funk, having failed to score this season.
