Romero liked the tweet post suggesting there may be another reason of his injury

Yesterday reporter Alasdair Gold, talking to Football.London, said that Tottenham defender Cristian Romero suffered a muscle injury, and specified the possible time of the player’s return – three to four weeks.

The Argentine defender’s superb form has significantly improved Conte’s defensive line. The team from North London looks much better with the 24-year-old player on the pitch.

Tottenham’s reporter claimed that Romero suffered a muscle injury during the London derby. However, there is one factor that many have overlooked.

Journalist Gaston Edul, who works for TyC Sports, suggested in a Twitter post that Romero’s injury could also be due to his collision with Cucurella.

“Rectification of information that emerged in England: Cuti Romero does NOT have a muscle injury. It was a blow product of this kick from Cucurella. He will be back sooner than expected.”

The Argentine liked this post, but it remains to be seen how accurate the information is, and after this statement the likely different outcomes of Sunday events.
