Antonio Conte took charge of Tottenham last month and has since improved the club’s form a fair bit. In the Premier League, Conte has taken charge of five games so far, drawing with Everton, beating Leeds, Brentford and Norwich before then playing out an enthralling 2-2 draw with Liverpool this past weekend, as informs the 101GG.
This has seen Spurs move up to 7th in the Premier League with the Lilywhites having at least two games in hand on all of the teams above them which, if they win them all, could potentially see them move up to 4th in the table.
However, though Spurs have had a solid start to life under Conte, the former Juventus man is no doubt aware that this side is by no means the finished article.
And, with the January window now less than two weeks away, Conte is set to be handed his first chance to put his own stamp on this squad.
But where does the Italian want to improve?
The centre-back area could probably do with some more quality, as could both full-back spots.
Elsewhere, the Lilywhites are once again coping without any sort of natural back-up to Harry Kane, which is an issue that could probably do with being addressed.
Now, The Athletic have provided an insight into the areas Spurs will target next month, stating:
Spurs are looking to sign two players — an attacking right wing-back and a forward — but their ability to bring in the right players will be partially connected to which ones they can get rid of. Spurs would be interested in moving on Dele Alli and possibly Matt Doherty, and there are others they would listen to offers for.
