According to RMC Sport (as relayed by GFFN), Tottenham Hotspur are keen to cash in on Serge Aurier when the transfer window opens, writes SpursWeb.
Aurier has successfully seen off competition from last summer’s signing Matt Doherty to remain Tottenham’s first-choice right-back for the majority of the season.
However, the Ivorian, whose current contract with Spurs has just over 12 months left to run, has been plagued by inconsistency since the turn of the year and was once again disappointing in yesterday’s 3-1 defeat at Leeds.
RMC Sport claims that Tottenham are prepared to sell the 28-year-old if they receive an offer of around €10m (£8.7m) this summer.
The report suggests that Aurier is on Paris Saint-Germain’s radar, with the Ligue 1 club unlikely to take up the option to buy Italian international right-back Alessandro Florenzi from AS Roma.
It is said that Aurier would be open to a move back to his former club but the Parisians could face competition from both Atletico Madrid and AC Milan for the Tottenham player this summer.
Aurier moved to White Hart Lane in the summer of 2017 for £23million, signing a five-year contract (BBC).
