Spurs have been linked with Ilaix Moriba in recent weeks, as have Arsenal and Chelsea.
According to 90Min, Tottenham, the Blues and the Gunners have held talks over the Barcelona talent.
Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal would be landing a top talent – but there are plenty of other clubs reportedly keen on him.
Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool are just some of the other clubs linked with Moriba.
However, it looks as though Tottenham are now frontrunners in the race to land the Camp Nou talent.
According to Sport, a meeting is taking place between Spurs and Moriba’s representatives today.
The two parties will try to reach an agreement that would see the 18-year-old join Tottenham, added the report.
Moriba appears keen on Spurs – he has reportedly asked his representatives to speak to the north Londoners.
RB Leipzig have apparently reached an agreement with the midfielder’s representatives already.
However they don’t want to buy out the 12 months left in his Barca contract, said the report.
In contrast, Spurs would reportedly be willing to pay a fee of €15million (£12.8million) plus bonuses.
