Tottenham Hotspur are planning to improve their attack after Fabio Paratici met with the agent of Randal Kolo Muani to discuss a transfer for the Nantes striker, per Foot Mercato.
Spurs Managing Director Paratici very recently spoke with Muani’s entourage to sound out his interest in moving to north London. The forward is in the final year of his contract at the Beaujoire Stadium and has attracted numerous suitors.
Muani will not extend his contract with La Maison Jaune and should leave the Ligue 1 side next summer. Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt already tried to sign the 22-year-old this summer and have now turned to a 2022 deal.
Eintracht admire Muani’s versatility to play across the Nantes attack and have made him an offer for a free transfer. Die Adler have not agreed terms with the Frenchman, who can also count Bayern Munich and Borussia Monchengladbach as suitors.
Paratici has moved to edge the Bundesliga outfits to Muani’s signature with the Nantes star available on a free transfer. The attacker proved to be a revelation in Ligue 1 last term with nine goals and eight assists over 37 outings in what was his first full top-flight campaign.
Muani has continued to be in among the goals this season with two and three assists in 10 appearances. He also provided two assists over three appearances for France at the Tokyo Olympics. While netting once in seven Under-21 internationals since debuting last October.
