Report: Levy makes power play in negotiations between Man City and Spurs in £125m Kane deal

Daniel Levy has reportedly cut off all communication between Man City and Tottenham as the Premier League champions continue to push to sign Harry Kane.

According to the Telegraph, the Spurs chairman has made the power play to reject all incoming phone calls from City.

The Manchester giants are desperate to sign Kane this summer after Sergio Aguero departed the club earlier in the window.

As per the report, the five-time Premier League champions have had a £125m bid rejected for Tottenham’s star player. Kane is back in training this week after being away on an extended holiday.

However, Kane is believed to be frustrated with Levy’s handling over City’s advances. The England captain is also said to have a gentleman’s agreement that would allow the striker to leave Spurs for a UEFA Champions League club.

Indeed, City have already broken the British transfer record this summer. The Manchester side signed Jack Grealish for a reported £100m according to BBC Sport.

And although Guardiola’s side could still lure Kane to Man City, time is running out for the Catalan manager.

The window shuts in just under two weeks. And as per the Telegraph, City will make one final push to sign Kane before deadline day on August 31st.
