Report: Levy could sell Harry Kane in January, despite Conte promise

Tottenham supremo Daniel Levy could be tempted to sell Harry Kane in the January transfer window, if the right offer comes along again from Manchester City.

According to ESPN, Levy is feeling nervy about the impact that the pandemic has had on the club’s finances. As we all know, Levy stood his ground in the summer and refused to sell Kane, as he stuck a £150m+ valuation in the England man’s head.

However, ESPN reports that, despite Antonio Conte being told Kane will be part of his plans, Levy is not completely shutting down the idea of his star striker going to Manchester City after all. It’s suggested Levy could be forced to accept a big bid, with City weighing up their options.

ESPN writes how the next weeks and months are crucial for Kane. It’s claimed he is impressed with appointment of Conte.

Of course, much will depend on City’s willingness to make that big bid and Kane’s attitude towards leaving mid-season. It does, however, seem that the Kane to City saga is far from over.
