According to Corriere della Sera, Gianluigi Donnarumma is now unhappy at Paris Saint-Germain, having been pursed by Tottenham over the summer.
Well, it was said back in June that Fabio Paratici had phoned the 22-year-old in a bid to bring him to Spurs, after a fine EURO 2020 campaign (Calciomercato).
Donnarumma won the Player of the Tournament for his efforts at EURO 2020, where he played all seven matches as Italy won the trophy.
Unsurprisingly, PSG and Mauricio Pochettino pounced on him to add to their Galactico recruitment drive, which also included Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos.
As things stand, Donnarumma has only made two starts in Ligue 1 as Keylor Navas has been preferred in between the sticks.
Interestingly, Messi is also against the Italian, preferring to see his fellow South American Navas in goal.
Corriere della Sera believe if this situation continues, then Donnarumma and his agent – Mino Raiola – will look for a new club.
If the PSG No.50 comes back on the market, Tottenham must do all they can to sign him.
Donnarumma is good enough to be Tottenham’s No.1 for the next decade – if not longer – and has the talent to become one of the best shot-stoppers around.
After all, he’s already racked up 263 appearances in senior football at just 22, having made his debut for AC Milan aged only 16.
