Sergio Reguilon felt the wrath of Tottenham Hotspur new boss Antonio Conte, as can be seen on ‘Conte Cam’, which was released by the club yesterday, writes the HITC.
The video, which focuses on the Tottenham boss’s actions on the touchline during their clash with Leeds United, really highlights Conte’s passion.
The Italian was a bundle of energy on the sideline, as his side picked up a 2-1 victory.
He was generally encouraging with his players, but early on in the video his frustrations get the better of him.
At the 00:16 mark Reguilon sets off on a run and has Emerson through on goal, but he fails to spot the Brazilian.
The Tottenham full-back, instead, tries to roll the ball into Harry Kane’s feet, but his pass doesn’t reach its intended recipient.
Conte is shouting and pointing at Reguilon to release Emerson, who is in acres of space, but the full-back fails to hear him.
Clearly the Spaniard’s failure to create a chance frustrates Spurs’ new boss, as he completely loses his temper.
Conte throws his arms up in the air, before turning and shouting to his staff in anger.
Thankfully for Reguilon, Conte was almost certainly more pleased with his second-half display.
The £32 million left-back (Sky) scored Tottenham’s winner when he pounced on a rebound from Eric Dier’s free-kick, as they continued their unbeaten start under the former Inter Milan boss’s tutelage.
