‘Opportunity for Paratici’ – Romano says deal for 22-year-old is on verge of collapse

It had been thought for a long time that Manor Solomon would be joining Fulham this summer, but now, a deal is on the verge of collapsing.

At least that’s what Fabrizio Romano is reporting.

Indeed, the Italian says there are serious problems between Fulham and Solomon, and now, the deal could break down entirely and other clubs could enter the race.

Solomon has already said that it’s incredibly likely that he’ll be playing in England next season, and there are a few English clubs that have been keen on the Israeli for quite some time.

Arsenal reportedly bid £17m last summer, while Tottenham showed a strong interest in January, but a deal never came to fruition.

However, with Solomon now seemingly back on the market and available for a fee of around £6.2m, this could be Spurs’ chance to strike.

Romano says that there is a huge opportunity on the market for someone here, and there’s no reason why that can’t be Spurs.

Solomon is one of the most highly-rated players in Ukraine at the moment, and his two blockbuster performances against Real Madrid in the Champions League last season just go to show how talented this young man is.

A move to Fulham seems to be off the cards, and the Cottagers’ loss may well be Spurs’ gain if they want to re-enter the race for the winger’s signature.

This is certainly a situation worth keeping a close eye on as we approach the transfer window.
