Tottenham has announced that Danny Rose will leave the club on a free transfer, writes the BoyHotspur.
Jose Mourinho froze the Englishman out of the team this season after he fell out with the Portuguese boss.
He hasn’t played any football this season after failing to find even a temporary home.
The announcement brings to an end his 14-year association with the Whites and he was an important part of their team for much of it.
Spurs were trophyless for much of his time with them, but he was a part of the team that reached the final of the Carabao Cup in 2015 and the Champions League in 2019.
The club posted about his departure on the Twitter account to confirm that he would leave them at the end of his current deal next month. Not all their fans were happy with how he was treated and made that known in the comments.
Absolutely phenomenal servant for the club, punished for speaking out and speaking the truth. Nothing but a shame it’s ended this way, eternally grateful for the loyalty he showed

He’s been at your club for 14 years and all he gets is “Thank you, Danny.”
