New report reveals what Conte has told Kane to make him stay at Tottenham

London World claim that Antonio Conte has told Harry Kane that winning a title at Tottenham Hotspur will mean so much more, than winning the Premier League or an overseas title elsewhere, writes the TBR.

The question marks surround the future of 28-year-old Kane, after a summer-long saga of speculation linking him with a move to Manchester City. That remains, with Kane struggling to find form in the Premier League.

Kane has only scored one Premier League goal this season, failing to find the net against Brentford on Thursday night. He does have eight goals in 19 games, but the other seven have come in Cup competitions.

His lack of form continues to suggest that he is suffering a hangover from failing to get a move. But London World claim that Conte has spoken to Kane – discussing a potential future move away from the club.

If Kane still wants to go, it is because the title prospects are larger elsewhere – but Conte has told him that winning a Premier League title at Spurs will mean so much more, than doing at City.

Without a doubt. Conte has taken over Chelsea and Inter, teams that were challenging to finish in the top four – and has turned them into title winners. He could end up doing the same with Spurs.

If he does so at Tottenham, and Kane leaves to join Manchester City or another club – imagine the regret Kane will feel. Surely, Kane will be best giving Conte a year or two and if there is progression, he should stay.

The next two transfer windows will prove crucial for Kane’s preference to stay or go – if Spurs make some big signings, then surely Kane will be even more enthused over remaining in North London.
