Most of Spurs’ remaining budget will go on one position

According to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook, Spurs are expected to spend most of their budget to cover the center-back position.

Alex Crook expects the Spurs to finally strike a deal with Middlesbrough for right-back Spence and after that spend a large sum to buy another central defender, probably from Serie A as executive director Fabio Paratici has already made several meetings with Italian agents.

The journalist gave his opinion to GiveMeSport:

“I think it’s a centre-back they want because he wants to play with a back three with Djed Spence and Perisic might play as a left wing-back. So, I think the bulk of the cash will go on a central defender.”

“We know that Fabio Paratici has been meeting various agents in Italy, so I would imagine it would be a centre-back from Serie A, possibly one of the names we’ve heard about already.”
