‘Money + player’ – Tottenham get Malinovskyi transfer boost as key rival withdrawn from the race

Tottenham does not stop their pursue of the Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi. According to the Corriere Bergamo newspaper, the French league team Marseille has already withdrawn from the race, after being informed that the Ukrainian prefers a move to the club from North London.

Spurs now consider to offer the services of Sergio Reguilon as a swap, although the approximate value that Atalanta values the Ukrainian is estimated at 20 million euros.

Competitors Malinovskyi Nottingham Forest offered 15 million euros for the player, but Atalanta seemed the bid underpriced and rejected the offer. And it is still unclear whether Forest will take any further action.

With only Tottenham now in contention for the player, executive director Fabio Paratici aims to get him as quickly as possible before the transfer window closes.
