The 30-year-old suggests that there were a plenty of regular running exercises. Even during the last week in London they trained in the same style. Doherty says that he doesn’t know if there are teams that will be stronger than Spurs in terms of fitness level as these sessions are not like anything he’s done before. Matt concludes that trainings are difficult and this is the hardest preseason he has ever had.

Tottenham’s defender reveals that everyone gets great pleasure when session ends. During the workout, your brain is tortured, but when it’s over, you feel proud and go to bed thinking “Yes, I worked hard today.” You just think, “Don’t give up.”

Spurs player insists that a he may even crawl across the line and do everything to finish the exercise. The Italian manager instilled the determination to keep going and never give up.
