‘Keep an eye on’ – Alasdair Gold reveals Paratici and Spurs now consider ‘elite’ Championship talent

Tottenham Hotspur have an eye on the Bristol City youngster Alex Scott going into this summer’s transfer window, writes the TIF.

This has been proclaimed by the reliable Spurs journalist, Alasdair Gold, who has been providing the latest to come from Hotspur Way on his YouTube channel.

Scott has made huge strides this season having made 38 appearances in the Championship over the 2021/22 campaign at the age of just 18-years-old.

This is quite the change from the 2020/21 season where he made just three league appearances with a combined 153 minutes of action (via Transfermarkt).

And the youngster has excelled since making the transition from central-midfield to right wing-back which has seen interest gather in the young talent.

And Gold, believes Spurs are one of the club’s going into the summer with Scott on their radar as Antonio Conte looks to make changes to his squad:

“I know they really like Alex Scott, 18-year-old, plays for Bristol City, he primarily plays on the right, midfielder, but he can also play through the centre.”

“At the moment, Bristol City’s valuation of him is a little bit higher than Spurs want to pay. So there’s no movement on that right now. But maybe keep an eye on that one, because he’s a player they like.”
