During last week it was reported by several media outlets that Tottenham defender Japhet Tanganga may move to Milan this summer.
Even more, the management of the Italian club has already contacted the agents of the 23-year-old football player regarding possible cooperation and Tanganga does not mind leaving London for regular game practice.
The Englishman can play both in the center of defense and on the right wing. The Transfermarkt estimates his value at 12 million euros.
Spurs’ academy-graduate Tanganga made 19 appearances for Tottenham last season, largely being unlucky with injuries. Before a serious knee injury, he started 9 of 16 games during the last campaign.
However, Japhet Tanganga has dismissed all of these rumours while speaking to football.london:
“It’s just speculation, and I don’t read too much into speculation. My focus is I’m just happy to be back, being injury-free and helping the team as much as I can and be ready when I’m called upon.”
“It’s about being ready. There was a period when Cristian Romero was injured and the manager called upon me to play in that position. I’m just grateful to play as many games as possible and I’m just happy to play whenever the manager wants me to.”
