Jamie O’Hara Says Tottenham Now Only Have Two Players ‘Who Can Actually Do Something’

Former Tottenham Hotspur player Jamie O’Hara has voiced his disappointment with the current performance of the club, stating that only Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are capable of making anything happen. Speaking on TalkSPORT following the team’s 4-3 defeat to Liverpool, O’Hara expressed his frustration with Tottenham’s inconsistency and poor form.

Despite a promising start to the season, the club has struggled with injuries, uncertainty surrounding the future of their manager, and a string of disappointing results. Antonio Conte’s departure was followed by the departure of Cristian Stellini, leaving Ryan Mason in charge of finishing the season on a positive note.

However, the recent defeat to Liverpool was a stark reminder of the club’s shortcomings, as they gave away a three-goal lead, clawed back in extra time, and ultimately threw it all away again in the final seconds of the game. Mason was particularly unhappy with the decision not to send off Diogo Jota for a foul on Oliver Skipp, which led to the decisive goal.

O’Hara’s assessment that only Kane and Son are capable of making things happen is not without merit, given their performances this season. He criticized the team’s lack of preparation and focus, stating that they seem to be going into games without a clear strategy or mindset.

The future of Kane, in particular, has been a topic of much speculation, with many reports suggesting that he may leave the club during the summer transfer window. If he does, O’Hara believes that Tottenham will be in serious trouble, as he is currently the team’s most important player.

While O’Hara’s comments may seem harsh on other players, such as Rodrigo Bentancur, who has been missed in midfield since his injury, they highlight the current state of Tottenham Hotspur. The club will need to make significant changes if they hope to compete at a higher level in the future.
