Jamie Carragher believes that Farhad Moshiri does not have a clue about what is going on at Everton.
The former Liverpool captain claims that he feels sorry for Frank Lampard as it’s not a job anyone would fancy taking up.
He also did not understand the rationale for signing Nathan Patterson and Vitaliy Mykolenko only to let go of Rafa Benitez in a week.
Speaking on Sky Sports Overlap, he said, “I think Everton are probably one of the worst run clubs in Europe. They have to be.
“Some of the things Everton do is unbelievable. You saw what they did in January in terms of bringing two new full-backs in and then sacking the manager a week later.
“I feel for Frank a little bit. Everton football club is not the place you want to go as a manager. It’s an absolute mess.
“The owner’s not got a clue, obviously. You’ve got the Usmanov thing too.”
Moshiri clearly seems to be clueless and does not know how to run a football club.
He’s listening to all the wrong people for advice and more often than not, they’re giving him incorrect suggestions.
Who would’ve thought that hiring Rafa Benitez was something that would sit well with the fans?
He clearly is not the manager he once was and even if he is, it makes no sense, given his Liverpool roots.
Hopefully, some changes at the boardroom level may help things in the short term but it remains to be seen how it all pans out.
