Damsgaard and Vlahovic rumours swirl despite Tottenham interest.
The Serie A pair are both linked with a move to Spurs.
Mikkel Damsgaard was rumoured as recently as last month by TuttoSport.
Meanwhile Dusan Vlahovic’s name was mentioned with Spurs all the way through the summer (Sky Sports).
Now, though, Spurs face some issues.
If they are to sign the sublime Serie A attacking duo they’ll have to beat other clubs to it.
According to CalcioMercato, both Juventus and Inter Milan want to sign both of the stars.
Vlahovic is one of the best strikers outside of Europe’s elite clubs.
Last season he scored 21 Serie A goals, form which earned him this interest from so many clubs (Transfermarkt).
Meanwhile, Damsgaard, who was one of the stars of the Euros over the summer, is an equally talented attacker.
The versatile forward scored twice and assisted once in six games at the Euros (Transfermarkt).
Both of the pair would be huge additions at Spurs.
The Lilywhites have been missing a Christian Eriksen type midfield since his exit in January 2019.
Meanwhile, in Vlahovic, Daniel Levy and Fabio Paratici could have the answer to their striker issues.
Finding another striker who can star in Harry Kane’s absence has been a huge issues.
In signing Vlahovic, Spurs could rest easily when Kane is absent.
These two signings could be perfect additions at Spurs.
Until the Lilywhites bring in some reinforcements in attack and as a creative midfielder, Spurs will have issues.
With this in mind, the Juventus and Inter interest in the pair is only bad news for Tottenham.
