Tottenham player Ryan Sessegnon admitted that he worked very hard during the preseason break. The Englishman’s goal was to gain muscle mass and become a better version of himself.
The 22-year-old footballer revealed himself differently last season. Under Antonio Conte, the player played nineteen times and there were numerous moments when he really impressed. The Englishman is working on himself, and he hopes to get more playing time in the upcoming season.
Compared to last season, Ryan Sessegnon looks at himself differently (via football.london):
‘I used the off-season as an opportunity to get muscle into my legs – and my top as well. If you can see the difference then obviously it’s worked.‘
‘Double sessions every day, upper body, lower body and just running a lot. Free weights and squats, hamstring work, obviously, because of my history. Making myself stronger in every aspect. I feel a bit strong.‘
