‘I also had an offer from London’ – ex-Juventus star talks about an offer from a London club, alluding to Tottenham

Former Juventus player Federico Bernardeschi previously said he has received numerous offers from other clubs this summer, including English ones, hinting at Tottenham.

The 28-year-old Italian’s contract with Juventus expired this summer and he decided not to renew it. Thus, he became a free agent and open to offers from other clubs.

The Italian decided to move to Toronto FC. After moving to the Canadian club, the player revealed why he turned down many offers. He admits that he no longer has anything to prove after his successful performances in Europe.

Among the many options where he could continue his career, he named the London club, although he did not say Tottenham, but expressed his admiration for the team’s Italian specialist.

Yes, [I also had an offer] from London. But I don’t say who. Let’s say that I admire Conte shamelessly.
