Fabrizio Romano has revealed on Chris Cowlin’s Youtube channel that Fabio Paratici has already changed Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer approach since taking charge.
Paratici has only been at Tottenham for a matter of weeks, but Spurs have already been linked with numerous different players since he took charge.
The Italian sporting director is yet to make his first signing, but Romano says he has definitely seen a change of Tottenham’s transfer strategy.
“Yes,” Romano said when asked if Tottenham’s approach had changed since Paratici joined.
“They are already talking with different players and in different positions.
“This is Paratici’s strategy and style. He is not obsessed with only one player.
“He is talking with many players in the same position and then decides what is the best option.
“He has this strategy on the market. He is always changing and talking with different people. It’s something we will see at Tottenham and are already seeing at Tottenham.”
The news that Tottenham are now in talks to sign multiple different targets looks extremely exciting.
It is also worth noting that Romano’s explanation may explain why Tottenham are linked with so many different players.
Joaquin Correa, Miralem Pjanic, Joules Kounde, Takehiro Tomiyasu and Todd Cantwell are just a few of the names who Spurs have been said to be interested in over recent days.
It seems that Tottenham will have final calls to make over which players they want to sign sooner rather than later though.
Spurs are back in pre-season training, and they would surely ideally like to give any new faces as long as possible to adapt to Nuno’s style before the start of the new campaign.
