Speaking on The Overlap, Roy Keane has been speaking about Tottenham’s top-four chances and he’s made a claim about their two January signings, writes the HITC.
As we all know, Roy Keane is a very difficult man to impress, but somehow, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski have managed to catch his eye.
Indeed, Keane was more than happy to admit that the two signings from Juventus represented good recruitment from Spurs.
Keane discussed the two January additions at Tottenham.
“That fourth place is available for you. The way Kane and Son have been playing, Spurs have almost snook up there,” Keane said.
“More to the point, Bentancur and Kulusevski have hit the ground running,” One fan added.
“That’s good recruitment, without a doubt,” Keane concluded.
If Roy Keane is giving you praise then you have to have done something right.
The pundit isn’t wrong about the Spurs pair either, they were two excellent signings.
Kulusevski has hit the ground running, and while a potential £44m fee is incredibly steep, if he keeps this up, he looks like he’ll be worth the money.
Meanwhile, Bentancur hasn’t had as much of an impact, but he’s added some real steel to the Spurs midfield and at £21.5m, he’s already proving to be a real bargain.
Fabio Paratici has used his Juventus connections to get these deals over the line, and as Keane says, it’s good recruitment.
