Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to Eric Dier’s challenge on Tanguy Ndombele in training.
Footage emerged of the hard-hitting Dier producing a tough tackle on his ball-carrying teammate during an open training session at Tottenham’s stadium.
Tanguy Ndombele not best pleased about being upended by Eric Dier. He even throws a little cup in disgust (shock horror) but there's no hard feelings. pic.twitter.com/xhLxRNpCvN

The tackle occurred during a small-sided game between the Tottenham players, and whilst play continued, Ndombele was seen throwing his hands up and later on walking off the pitch and seemingly looking annoyed.
It’s not the first time that Dier has upset a teammate in training, and it probably won’t be the last, because the All or Nothing documentary did highlight the Englishman’s challenge on Heung-Min Son that left him upset.
Nonetheless, the Spurs faithful have provided a mixed reaction to Dier’s challenge.
One section were unhappy with the defender, whilst others think their record-breaking signing needs to toughen up.
In truth, these things probably happen on a regular basis in training and both players should have made up by now.
On one hand, you would like to see players treating training like it’s a game because if daily training is tougher than the main event at the weekend then as a club you know that you are doing something right.
For Spurs, now it’s about transferring their hard work from pre-season into the Premier League that will begin in a fortnight’s time.
The heat will be on Nuno Espirito Santo from the get-go, and if he cannot show that he’s cooking something tasty in the kitchen, then the fans will be channelling their inner Gordon Ramsey from the stands and making their feelings clear towards the players and manager.
