‘Fixed transfer fee’ – Tottenham have agreed to sell the player, but wait to make a new signing first

According to the Dutch newspaper AD, a deal between Tottenham and Ajax is about to take place.

Steven Bergwijn will be the new acquisition of the Dutch club. Tottenham have already agreed on a fixed fee for the player, the price will be 25 million euros.

Due to the Sven Botman sale clause, Ajax will receive an additional €3m, making the Dutchman’s move even more likely.

Spurs are presumably looking to add bonuses to push the transfer fee up to €30m.

AD says Spurs want to introduce a new player ahead of the winger’s transfer, but who that will be is still unknown.

Despite the difficulties of the negotiations, the Dutch club is confident that they will be able to wrap the deal for Bergwijn in the upcoming days.
