Euro 2024 Midfielder Urges Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg to Leave Tottenham Hotspur This Summer

Tottenham Hotspur have wasted no time in the summer transfer window, with both incoming and outgoing transfers already confirmed in the opening month.

Chairman Daniel Levy and manager Ange Postecoglou are actively reshaping the Tottenham squad, with a number of departures already greenlit. Tanguy Ndombele is the biggest name to move on this summer, with Joe Rodon also recently being sold.

One player specifically being linked with a move to another major European club is midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The Danish international has been heavily linked with a transfer away from north London, with Borussia Dortmund a reported suitor.

Following Denmark’s elimination from Euro 2024, Hojbjerg’s international teammate Thomas Delaney has spoken to the media about his desire to see the Spurs midfielder join him at Borussia Dortmund.

“I would recommend (the move) both – Borussia Dortmund and Pierre,” Delaney told Sky Germany. “He’s an amazing player. For me he’s a top international central midfielder.”

With Hojbjerg now enjoying a break after Denmark’s Euros exit, speculation is sure to continue regarding his future at Tottenham Hotspur.
