Dejan Kulusevski Reveals What Happened in Tottenham’s Dressing Room After Saints Draw

Tottenham Hotspur’s dressing room was left silent after they slipped up in a 3-3 draw against Southampton on Saturday, according to Dejan Kulusevski.

The Spurs had taken a 3-1 lead in the second half, but Pedro Porro’s goal was quickly followed by Che Adams’ equalizer right after the break. Harry Kane restored Tottenham’s lead with a well-taken header, and Ivan Perisic’s strike seemed to have sealed the deal with three points. But Theo Walcott and Pape Matar Sarr’s penalty in stoppage time caused a draw.

Antonio Conte was disappointed with the second-half collapse and gave an explosive interview during his post-match press conference. Kulusevski revealed that there weren’t many words said in the Tottenham dressing room right after the game.

He expressed his frustration by saying, “No, absolutely it feels like a loss. We needed this win, we know that this three points were very important and we prepared the game a lot this week so we are very disappointed. Not much words inside there [dressing room].”

Southampton, who are sitting bottom of the table, managed to snatch two points from Tottenham after some dismal defending. The result added to Conte’s problems as his future has been dominating the headlines over the past couple of weeks.

The Italian didn’t pull any punches with his assessment of the situation at Tottenham during his explosive rant, leaving the future of the club uncertain.
