Clement Lenglet praises Tottenham teammate as ‘very good’ player

Tottenham Hotspur’s defender, Clement Lenglet, has identified his teammate, Dejan Kulusevski, as a “very good player” during a game of guess the player on the Tottenham YouTube channel.

Lenglet, who is on a season-long loan at Tottenham from Barcelona, has made 28 appearances for the North London club so far this season. It is unknown whether he will remain with Spurs beyond this season, as there were no purchase clauses in his original deal.

Recent reports suggest that a permanent move for Lenglet is being discussed, with Spurs believed to have progressed with negotiations for a deal worth around £12.3 million. The 27-year-old has gotten to know his teammates at Spurs pretty well this season. Lenglet was able to identify Kulusevski without any trouble when shown a list of clubs – Atalanta, Parma, and Juventus.

Kulusevski, a Swedish star who joined Tottenham last January, has made a big impact at the club with seven goals and 15 assists in 48 appearances. However, injuries have hampered his progress at Spurs this campaign. Nevertheless, the 22-year-old is still regarded as a key player at the club. Spurs can make Kulusevski’s loan deal permanent for a fee of £31 million, but his future at the club still needs to be resolved.

Recent reports from CalcioMercato suggest that the move will still happen despite the departure of Antonio Conte. Lenglet’s praise for Kulusevski adds to the growing appreciation of the Swede’s abilities at Tottenham. Kulusevski’s future at the club remains uncertain, but his talent is undeniable, and he has the potential to become one of Tottenham’s top players in the future.
